The Beginnings

ABBS School of Law in Bangalore under the Samagra Sikshana Samithi Trust (SSST) was founded way back in 1996 when India was on the threshold of globalization by a group of educationalists and visionaries. Led by the commitment of the Trustees, SSST has accomplished appreciable growth in more than one decade that it has just completed by setting role-model institutions for training the youth in Health Sciences, Basic Sciences, Management, and Para-Medical streams.

Academic programs such as Management, Health Sciences, Life sciences, Law, Commerce, Humanities, Information Technology, Executive education are being taught in the educational institutions of SSS Trust, a learning environment that befits the best anywhere in the world.

Governed by the scientific and academic eminence, the Board of the SSST institutions is led by Dr. B. Vijaypal Reddy, an accomplished medical professional.

From Principal's Desk

Dr. Shobharani V has completed her Ph.D in Law from Bangalore University & LLM from NLSIU Bangalore and Kuvempu University. She has also cleared UGC NET. She has more than 10 years of experience in teaching and administration having worked with Panchami Law College and Bangalore University Law College. She has participated actively in various National and International conferences and presented papers on wide range of topics in Law. She is familiar to legal process as she also practiced as an Advocate. She has participated in Legal-Aid camps and she has organized various activities for students including moot court competitions to give experiential learning. She has also worked as NSS Program Officer.

Things We provide with our Courses

Course Instructions

  • Instructions & Training

    Instruction and training for the course shall be not less than 30 class-hours per week including tutorials, moot court exercise and seminars provided there shall be at least 24 lecture hours per week.

  • Attendance

    Each semester shall be taken as a unit for the purpose of calculating attendance.Students shall attend lecture classes as well as seminars, Moot Courts etc.

  • Scheme of Examination

    Scheme of examination for each paper is 80 + 20. University examination for 80 marks for 2 and 1/2 hours duration and internal assessment for 20 marks will be conducted in the college as per university circular.

  • Standard of Passing

    No candidate shall be declared to have passed the examination of any semester unless he/she has obtained a minimum of marks of 40% in each of the paper.
